This was my first hot weather wedding here as a Lubbock, Texas wedding photographer, and boy – the sun does NOT mess around here. Jacelyn and Andrew came to me as a referral from another photographer. I have not ever met a couple more fit for each other! These two tied the knot at the Fibermax Center for Discovery (the Ag Museum to natives here), and their day was nothing short of perfect. For Lubbock, Texas wedding photography, this venue has the best of all worlds.
I never would have thought of hosting a wedding at their venue, however, it is the most PERFECT spot for a large party and has many options for portraits and detail shots. Check out the dress shot below! Myself, my second shooter and the bride’s sister in law braved great heights to get this shot.
The getting ready suites at the venue were perfect for a midsized wedding party!
I love that first looks with your bridesmaids are becoming more popular. These are for traditional couples who don’t want to do a first look with their partner! Consider this for your Lubbock, Texas wedding photography!
This was a 5PM ceremony in May if you are wedding planning here in Lubbock, TX.
This is the most beautiful spot for couples portraits! The sunset is so soft and gentle at this angle. You can see Lubbock’s skyline in the background, giving it that romantic city feel.
I love that direct flash is becoming popular again! This trend was popular back in the day – think old Hollywood. Now we’re seeing it more in the wedding industry!
