I met Taylor as she was doing hair for one of my other brides (Sarah!). We have hit it off ever since. To say that I was super excited when she asked me to photograph her and Paul’s wedding is an understatement! These two are SUPER fun to be around and are constantly laughing and it’s just contagious. I met up with them for their engagement session at the always beautiful Carver’s Gap in Roan Mountain State Park. I was super excited to join their family and friends at The Camp at Buffalo Mountain for their wedding in early September. For Lubbock, Texas wedding photography, this one takes the cake.
The Camp is always amazing to shoot at and I just love everyone there. This was our second time there in 2019! It boasts so many different scenic backdrops for your photos, in particular, the gorgeous creek that runs through the property! Taylor took advantage of it and went for some serious mermaid-esque photos in her Stella York gown! She is a great example of why it’s best to just let the expectations of being perfect go and to get your dress a little dirty. After all, the best memories come from messy moments in my opinion. This lovely couple both grew up around the area. Paul actually spent a lot of his childhood at The Camp, so picking this venue for their gorgeous wedding was a no brainer!
Taylor and Paul said their vows in front of their closest family and friends at the Camp’s pavilion, then danced the night away under the stars!
