I first met Brooke through a past bride and now good friend of mine! I am super thankful that we were able to get together and create these images for her and her boyfriend! This session was shot originally in 2019, just shortly after my past bride’s wedding. I truly feel like I have made friends for life! We try to shoot every year for updated shots for them! Now that I am a Lubbock Texas couples photographer, I hope they will travel to me for some sweet shots around town!
We met up back on Roan Mountain for this session! I can’t count the amount of times I’ve shot up there on both hands and feet. I can tell you that each time has been so different! The weather up there changes so quickly – check out this blog post where the fog rolled in within 10 minutes of our starting time – and so that means it can get pretty dangerous very quickly unless you know what to look for and how to navigate it. Thankfully, the weather was perfect for Brooke and Skyler’s session (albeit, a little cold) and we made the most of the mountain views for that day!
One of my favorite things to do with my couples is to spend the sunset with them. We can take a little bit of time into the night to get a little peek of the moon. Check out Brooke and Skyler’s 2020 couple’s session at another gorgeous mountain close by here. >> Brooke + Skyler’s Highlands Couples Session
This session was originally shot in winter of 2019. Now that I am a Lubbock Texas couples photographer, I am accepting new clients for the 2021 and 2022 seasons! I love to connect with my couples early on and couples sessions are a great way to do that before the engagement session and wedding!
